Amoreiras (Av. Eng. Duarte Pacheco, Lisbon) – opened in 1985, this is the oldest shopping center in Lisbon. With a very bold architecture for its time, it early became a meeting point for the upper middle and upper classes, always demanding quality and attentive to the last fashion trends. There are over 238 stores (such as Benetton, Guess, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Mango, Zara, etc.), 7 movie theaters, high-end restaurants (as well as a McDonald’s for budget shoppers), a 900-car parking lot, 9 banks, and even a church, and a play area for the school children.
